Panels...

The system is available with two different pipe-diameters and three thicknesses of floor panel. Panels comprise those with straight water pipe channels and also U-turn panels.

For houses, apartments and conversions:
Floorheater Thin 16

Ultra-Thin 12: An amazing 12.5mm thin panel that carries a 12 x 1.1mm PEX water pipe, and builds into the world's thinnest conventional hydronic underfloor heating system. Ideal for renovations, its unique thinness allows for installation, in many cases, without having to cut doors, or lose ceiling height in period conversions.

Technical specification:
Building height 12,5 mm
Max. pipe length per circuit 70 m
Max. m² per circuit 12 m²
Pipe's center-center spacing 192 mm
Panel size 1175 x 768
EPS density 40 kg/m³
EPS tolerance 300 kPa (~300 kg/dm²)
Heat conductivity of aluminium 200 W/(m °C)
Aluminium foil thickness 0.1 mm
Pipe dimensions 12 x 1.1
Pipe min. bending radius 60 mm
Pipe pressure max PN 6 bars
Max supply temperature 50°C
Maximum output 80 Watts/m²

For larger homes and developments:

Thin 16: 16.5mm thin, including PEX-pipe of 16 x 2.0mm, the Thin 16 allows for longer pipes, and therefore larger surfaces per circuit, compared to the 12. This makes the 16 perfect for larger developments.

Technical specification:
Building height 16,5 mm
Max. pipe length per circuit 90 m
Max. m² per circuit 18 m²
Pipe's center-center spacing 192 mm
Panel size 1175 x 600
EPS density 40 kg/m³
EPS tolerance 300 kPa (~300 kg/dm²)
Heat conductivity of aluminium 200 W/(m °C)
Aluminium foil thickness 0.1 mm
Pipe dimensions 16 x 2.0
Pipe min. bending radius 80 mm
Pipe pressure max PN 10 bars
Max supply temperature 50°C
Maximum output 80 Watts/m²

For conversions and developments where floor insulation is required:

Easy-Panel: 25mm thick, the Easy-Panel is primarily intended for use within multi-storey buildings, where the intermediate floors have inadequate insulation for underfloor heating purposes. The Easy-Panel with its additional insulation underneath the pipes almost completely eliminates any downward heat loss.

Pipe diameters available with the Easy-Panel are 12 mm and 16 mm [with 13 and 9 mm insulation respectively].

PEX water pipes 12mm and 16mm.

Made of a special cross-linked polythene with oxygen diffusion barrier. In careful tests conducted at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm it has been estimated that the floorheater PEX pipe could last, in use, for up to 500 years!

floorheater can also supply: mixing pumps, manifolds flow meters, actuators, cable and wireless thermostats as well as all necessary electrical connection boxes.

Our different pumps and mixing units.

FS 36: A small pump and mixing unit designed for floors of up to 36 m². Comes complete with manifold.

FS 160: Specially designed for floors of up to 80 m².

Flowbox: Specifically for floors of over 80 m². We can provide this pump with all floor sizes where the client specifies an Automix unit to auto-manage the system.

Automix: The Automix unit makes fully automatic adjustments to the temperature of a system, in order to compensate inside for any changes in the air temperature on the outside of a building. The Automix is only compatible with the Flowbox.

flexibility...

floorheater can be purchased as a complete system, or alternatively any component of the system can be ordered separately as required . The system comes ready to fit, with all of the necessary components, including pump and thermostat, to enable underfloor heating to be installed and up and running in next to no time.

Where ordered separately the pipe and panels can be connected to any make of water pump and manifold. This makes it the ideal choice where it is necessary to replace an older underfloor system's water circuit, but not the pump or any other existing componentry.

Whatever your requirement... floorheater can provide the solution.
